Every BlackBerry City Chase event requires the support and service of local volunteers. Volunteering for this interactive, fast-paced event can be very exciting and rewarding. It is an incredibly fun day out and the best possible way to get some hands on experience at a large sporting event. All volunteers will receive a record of their day including duties; responsibilities etc to use in future work endeavors.

Below is a list of volunteering opportunities:

Assistance will be required at the Registration and Finish Line Festivities with everything from set up, start line, finish line coordination, timing, AfterParty set up etc.

ChasePoints

This is where we need the largest complement of volunteers. This is a great way to get a taste of the race and interact with all competitors. Stationed at various locations along the course, you will be responsible for helping to staff the ChasePoints. As participants complete the challenges you will be responsible for punching their event bibs recording their times in the ChasePoint log. In addition you will be responsible for communicating the necessary updates to BlackBerry City Chase headquarters.
